While a television may not seem like essential hospital equipment, it can be a significant benefit in a busy department. The Stafford and Cannock League of Hospital Friends was therefore pleased to fulfill a request from the Rheumatology team to purchase a new television for their unit.

 

Sister Jessica O’Brien and Sister Gail Peart, along with other department staff, were present for the formal donation. League Chair Val Jones and other members visited the busy unit for the presentation.

 

Sister Gail Peart commented that the new TV “can be very helpful to settle patients visiting the day unit.”
