Volunteering

Make a difference with Stafford and Cannock LOHF

Do you want to make new friends offering vital help to people in need and connect with your community to make it a better place?

Can you spare a little bit of time to make a big difference in your local hospital?

Stafford and Cannock League of Hospital Friends ( SCLOHF ) are looking for volunteers to serve drinks and snacks at our coffee bars or to take the trolley round the wards to patients who are unable to get to the coffee bars.

We are looking for friendly people who can greet staff and customers with a smile and make their hospital visit a bit less daunting. You don’t need any previous catering or retail experience, just a positive attitude, and we will provide full training.

As well as providing a valuable service to customers, SCLOHF also donates money back to the hospitals to help them fund projects so you will be helping to provide facilities for your local hospital.

The following opportunities are available:

• Coffee bar – County Hospital

• Coffee Bar – St Georges Hospital

• Trolley Service – St Georges Hospital

Volunteering opportunities are Monday to Friday.

What we offer:

Travel expenses

Free hospital parking

Lunch vouchers (at certain sites)

Regular volunteer get togethers

Annual celebration meal

Training for the role
