In 2023 the League celebrated fifty years of service and held a series of events and activities to mark this historical occasion and increase partnership collaboration. These included litter picking, school competitions, a celebration event and picnic with our supported service users,a ‘Thank you’ recognition award evening for Trustees, Staff and Volunteers with a guest speaker and targeted fund raising throughout the year.
On October 10th a Golden Celebration event was attended by staff, service users, invited dignitaries and partner organisations at the Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford. This was a key element of a campaign to attract social landlords and raise the profile of the League, which included local radio station broadcasts and social media.
